  • Choke

    Choke, also known as esophageal obstruction is caused by the impaction of food in the esophagus.

  • Colic

    The term colic describes the clinical signs that horses show when they have abdominal pain : they look at their flanks, sweat a lot, lie down, roll on their back or stretches out as if to urinate.

  • Diarrhoea

    Diarrhoea is defined as the increase of frequency and decrease in consistency of manure.

    The liver is a large organ (approximatively 10 kg in a 500 kg horse) with multiple biological functions, essential to proper operation of the body.
