Country: Finland
Speciality: Eventing
I started riding at the age of 6 and competing internationally in eventing classes at the age of 13. My competition history includes pony, junior and young rider classes, and since 2021 I am competing in the senior classes. I am based at Stall Auffarth in Ganderkesee, Germany.
I have won three Finnish Championships (2013 and 2014 in ponies and 2015 in Juniors). I have also had the opportunity to represent my country in European Championships in Eventing in all age groups: as a pony rider in Millstreet (2014) and Malmö (2015), as a Junior in Montelibretti (2016) and Millstreet (2017), and as a Young Rider in Fountainebleu (2018) and Maarsbergen (2019). I have also represented Finland in the Nordic and Baltic Championships several times and achieved gold, silver and bronze medals; in 2015 I won both individual and team gold in Haslev, Denmark.
I have 4 horses of my own and additionally horses from different horse owners. Conner K is my number one horse and we have climbed up the levels together: we started in CCI1* in 2015, and we have raised ourselves all the way to CCI4*. I also love educating young horses: it is wonderful to see them learn and enter to international competitions.
‘The right feeding is an essential part of keeping my horses fit for training and competitions. This is why I use Equistro products daily at home, in travel and at the shows. My favourite product is Flexadin, all my horses get Flexadin mixed with their evening food. And they love it! Flexadin is particularly good for eventing horses, as they get easily micro changes when jumping over cross-country fences sometimes even on non-optimal ground. Flexadin heals these micro changes and keeps my horses healthy and happy; it is meant especially for horses whose joint mechanism is subject to intense effort. I also use many other Equistro products depending on the horse: Secreta Pro Max and Respadril for horses with sensitivity in the airways, Elytaan for competition horses in shows, Chrysanphyton for horses who need stronger hooves, and many more.’
