Stella Hagelstam is a Finnish international Grand Prix dressage rider and four time Finnish Champion (2012-2013 and 2017-2018)
Stella has represented her nation in all age groups in different Championships like the Nordic Baltic Championships, European Championships (Barzago, Italy 2005 and Herning, Denmark 2013), Young Horse World Championships (Verden, Germany 2006,2008-2010,2012) and World Equestrian Games (Caen, France 2014). She has educated a total of 7 horses up to Grand Prix, from which she has competed internationally with Soraya II, Chopin III, Hagels Achat and her current horse New Hill Julitrea. Besides her professional competition career, she founded her own company - Passion for Dressage Ltd, in 2009. The company invests in promising young horses and educating them towards Grand Prix. With her curated team, Stella’s vision of developing young horses has proven successful with a number of international success stories and sales.
On a daily basis Stella trains riders and works with all ages and levels of dressage horses. At her mansion, Boe Gård, located in southern Finland, Stella runs a 50 horse training stable, accompanied by a small breeding section that is known for their stud name, Hagels. Three of her family’s own breedings has been successful on both national and international Grand Prix.
The future plan is to represent Finland in the European Championships in Rotterdam 2019 and in the Olympic Games in Tokyo 2020.
